Conceptual Tapping Model of Mn-Ferroalloy Furnaces

چکیده
Abstract The tapping process of submerged arc furnaces, like the Mn-ferroalloy production process, is when you drain liquid metal and slag from furnace. optimal drained furnace at same rate as it produced, being separated in post-tap hole process. Industrially, this not always case. Based on published articles, paper discusses total that contains consecutive steps flow back electrodes to tap electrode through runner, into ladle system. It focuses an overall summary which elements may affect tapping; however, should be noted a mathematical model. main information regarding materials zones well knowledge computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling work.

متن کاملNumerical Model of Steel Slab Reheating in Pusher Furnaces
The difficulty in measuring load temperatures inside reheating gas furnaces may be circumvented by appropriate use of on-line numerical models. In this article we describe a model of pusher furnaces, used to reheat steel slabs. The model uses thermocouple measurements at fixed positions inside the furnace to calculate the temperature of the combustion products, and takes into account radiative ...
متن کاملA Model of the Tapping Zone
MODEL OVERVIEW AND BACKGROUND INFORMATION The tapping zone of a maple tree is defined as the area around the circumference of the stem that can be utilized for sap collection. For sap collection with tubing, it can be thought of as a radial band of wood based at the point on a tree where the dropline meets the lateral tubing of the sap collection system. The physical boundaries of the tapping z...
متن کاملA Coupled Oscillator Model of Interactive Tapping
Background: Synchronization in music has been a popular experimental basis for studying social interactions, as musicians are required to synchronize to each other’s beats and integrate abstract social information in order to coordinate their actions as part of a non-verbal communication process. A finger-tapping paradigm has been used in studies of sensorimotor synchronization as well as coord...
